TEAM SMW IN THE AUSTRALIAN POSTIE GRAND PRIX

Team SMW returned to the track for another year at the Cessnock Mitsibushi Australian Postie Grand Prix.

The team, consisting of riders Ben Chaniago, Managing Director and Stephen Cope, Asset and Maintenance Manager, were supported by Crew Manager, Chad Berry and Pit Crew, Anthony Vincent, along with other SMW employees who cheered them on.

Their pink bike, in awareness of cancer research, faced problems in the qualifying and heat race but achieved some good lap times and the team was placed 15th overall after starting at the back of the grid.

SMW are proud to be a part of the only street GP bike race in the country and sponsored both the all women’s SMW Wine Country Cup and the SMW Cessnock Cup races.
