CONTRACT EXTENSION AWARDED AT MAJOR QLD COAL MINE

SMW Drilling Services has been awarded a two year contract expansion at a major coal mine in QLD by a long term mining client.

The  open cut mine produces quality hard coking coal for export to steel markets globally.

The new contract, commencing in February will see SMW provide 100% of the drilling fleet and supplementary maintenance labour. This represents a 70% increase in equipment from the existing scope and is a testament to our trusted partnership, being on site since 2021.
